Description

Qualifications: Minimum of high school/technical degree and related certificates Experience: 3-4 related experience in laboratory testing of construction materials. Competencies: good knowledge of concrete testing, durability tests, aggregates (specific gravity, absorption, moisture, sieve analysis..), and lab equipment, good knowledge in writing reports and comprehension of standards, Good knowledge of ISO 9001 standards requirements and of the Quality Management systems is a plus, ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations, good communication skills, ability to manage and motivate team, proficiency in written and verbal English Summary of functions and responsibilities:  Examines and prepares concrete and aggregate samples for testing.  Issues testing instructions to technicians and assistant technicians.  Carries out and oversees tests and checks the test results.  Assists in the preparation of the report.  Reviews final test reports as directed by the Materials Engineer  Maintains and calibrates test equipment
